Refunds

Digital orders, and when money comes back.

Everything we sell is delivered online the moment you publish. This policy sets out when a refund applies, how to ask for one, and how long it takes to reach you.

1. Scope

This Refund and Cancellation Policy covers everything bought from Web Invitations ("Web Invitations", "we", "us") and forms part of our Terms of Service. Everything we sell is digital: an invitation you customise online and publish as a web page. Nothing is printed or shipped, so no delivery, postage, or return-shipping terms apply.

2. Who processes your payment and your refund

Purchases are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. acting as merchant of record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt, and Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions apply to your purchase alongside this policy. Refunds are issued by Paddle, to the original payment method. Where this policy and Paddle's buyer terms differ, whichever gives you the stronger right is the one that applies.

3. Your 14-day refund window

You have 14 days from purchase to request a refund for any reason, including simply changing your mind. You do not have to justify the request, and publishing your invitation does not remove this right.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK you also have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content delivered immediately, that statutory right can end once delivery begins β€” but the 14-day window above is given by us on top of it, so in practice you have 14 days either way.

Consumers elsewhere may have equivalent rights under local law. Nothing in this policy limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. When we refund

We will refund you in full where:

  • You paid but your invitation was never published or made available to you.
  • The Service failed in a way that prevented you using what you bought, and we could not fix it in a reasonable time.
  • You were charged more than once for the same order, or charged after cancelling.
  • The invitation differs materially from what its product page described.
  • You are within 14 days of purchase and would like a refund for any reason at all.

5. After the 14-day window

Once 14 days have passed we look at requests case by case rather than refusing them outright. We will normally still refund where something on our side went wrong β€” the Service failed, the invitation did not work as described, or you were charged in error.

Outside those cases, a request made long after purchase for something we could fix instead is more likely to be met with the fix. Content mistakes are the common example: a misspelled name, a wrong date or venue can be edited and republished at no charge, at any time, which usually solves the problem faster than a refund would.

We do not operate an "all sales are final" policy, and we would rather look at an unusual situation than refuse it by reflex. If you think your case is fair, tell us.

6. How to request a refund

You can request a refund in two ways. Paddle handles refunds as merchant of record, so the most direct route is paddle.net β€” enter the email address you paid with and Paddle will find your order. Alternatively, email us at web.invitations.com@gmail.com with the email address you ordered with and your order number, and we will submit it for you.

  1. We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  2. We decide within 5 business days, and tell you the reason either way.
  3. Approved refunds are submitted to Paddle immediately.
  4. Paddle returns the money to your original payment method, typically within 3 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

7. Cancelling an unpaid order

A draft that has not been paid for is not an order and costs nothing β€” delete it whenever you like. An order awaiting payment can be cancelled from your invitations page before you pay, with no charge.

8. What happens after a refund

When a refund is issued we unpublish the invitation and your licence to use it ends. Anyone opening its link afterwards will find nothing there. Your account and any drafts stay as they are.

9. Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank β€” we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback, which takes weeks and is handled by Paddle rather than us. We may suspend an account with an unresolved chargeback until the dispute is settled.
